1. How do I get started with iBank@NICBank Facility?
The first step is to open an account with NIC Bank and register for iBank@NICBank,our Internet Banking facility. Application forms are available at all branch locations. You can also download forms online and apply for this facility. After registration, the Bank will provide User ID and pin-mailer with Password which you can use to log into the Bank's Internet Banking system and use iBank@NICBank facility.

2. Which browsers support iBank@NICBank? iBank@NICBank is best viewed in Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.

3. What is a Digital Certificate and how does it help to ensure security?
Digital certificates are issued by certification authorities to authenticate a Web site or elements of Web sites. The certificate identifies the originator of the site, or element, and verifies that it has not been tampered with. iBank@NICBank is presented with VeriSign Digital certificate which ensures the legitimacy of every transaction you carry out.

4. Is Internet banking through iBank@NICBank safe?
Our Internet Banking site requires every data to be 128-bit encrypted before transmission. Encryption is a process that transforms sensitive information into a string of unrecognizable characters before they are sent over the Internet and helps keep your information private between the bank's computer system and your Internet browser. This is also indicated by a closed padlock that appears in bottom right hand corner of the browser window. Also, the digital certificate obtained from VeriSign further ensures the authenticity of the website and ensures that every transaction you carry out is safe, provided you also follow safety tips and healthy Internet habits.

5. How many times can I attempt to login?
The User will get disabled after three wrong login attempts. To reset the login account, Customer needs to contact the Branch/Operation Manager of the Respective Branch.

6. Is the password case sensitive?
Yes, the password is case sensitive, i.e. small letters and capital letters will be treated as different.

7. Why do I need two passwords for iBank@NICBank?
You are provided with two passwords for iBank@NICBank. The first password is used for login and access features other than financial transactions and second password is required to perform financial transactions like Balance Transfer.

8. What do I do when my password won't work?
You should immediately notify the Branch/Operation Manager of the respective branch if your password does not work or you believe that your User ID or password has been lost, forgotten, stolen, or compromised in any way.
