NIC Foundation helps Bal Kalyan GrihaJanuary 27, 2010 - News Mr. Ashok Agrawal, Member of NIC Foundation handed over a cheque to Mr. Santosh Chapagain, President of MATS during a function at NIC Bank’s Corporate Office today. MATS is currently supporting 10 orphan children. NIC Foundation was moved by a news coverage that the orphanage was at the verge of a closure due to lack of resources & funds. NIC Foundation has continually helped many institutions in various ways. In the last Ashadh, NIC Foundation had helped a Police Officer of Khandbari, who was also supporting and educating orphan children in Sankhuwasabha. NIC Foundation is a non profit making organization promoted by NIC Bank to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility. It is continuously sponsoring various social activites like girl child education programme, scholarship to disabled & orphans, and financial help to orphanages and hospital etc. It is also running free health checkup in various part of the country. NIC Foundation strongly believes such social programs will encourage others also to come forward and contribute for social cause. |
