NIC Foundation contributes to Mata Tripurasundari CommitteeFebruary 02, 2010 - NewsNIC Foundation, a charity wing of NIC Bank has donated NRs. 25, 000 to Mata Tripurasundari Committee for the construction of Mata Tripurasundari Temple situated in Dhobighat, Lalitpur Mahanagar Palika. This financial contribution has been provided to support for organizing various spiritual program/activities, functions conducted by the committee from time to time. NIC Foundation is a non profit making organization promoted by NIC Bank to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility. It is continuously sponsoring various social activites in various part of the country. NIC Foundation has recently donated NRs.50, 000.00 to Makalu Trishakti Samuha (MATS) Nepal, as a financial assistance to (Bal Kalyan Griha) an orphanage situated in Khandbari, Sankhuwsabha. It has also donated NRs. 61,000.00 to Mr. Krishna Lal Tripathi, social worker who had initiated for the construction of the trail from Kusma to Modi Beni in Parbat District. The NIC Foundation strongly believes such social programs will encourage others as well to come forward and contribute for such social causes. Bank contributes to social causes through NIC Foundation by setting aside 0.5 % of its profit every year. |
