NIC Bank receives ISO 9001:2008 CertificationMarch 03, 2010 - News This certification has been accepted as a symbol of excellence worldwide. This is the first time in Nepal that the bank has been certified under the upgraded ISO 9001:2008 standards. This certification attests the ability of the Bank to consistently provide quality products and services that meet customers’ requirements in line with international standard and enhance their satisfaction level through effective application of the systems and processes. The certificate was awarded by URS Ltd, UK who also carryout an annual audit to keep a check on ongoing improvement and compliance with set standards. NIC Bank was also the first commercial bank in Nepal to have received the earlier version of its Quality Management System standard of ISO 9001:2000 in the year 2006. |
