The Bank has launched a new savings deposit account “NIC Happy Savings Account” which can be opened with initial deposit of Rs.1, 000. This account has a special high rate of 7%p.a for women and senior citizens. NIC Bank has recently been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for Quality System on Commercial Banking Activities by URS Ltd, UK.
