NIC Bank in MalangawaDecember 31, 2009 - NewsNIC Bank is pleased to announce the opening of its 23rd branch at Malangawa today. It is the first private sector Bank in Nepal to open a branch in Sarlahi district. The branch will provide a full range of products and services including all modern day banking facilities like Trade Finance, Remittance, Business Banking, ATM / Debit cards, Drafts, SMS Banking, Travelers cheques etc. It is connected to all other branches through a V-SAT network enabling real-time on-line connectivity. The Bank will soon be opening 2 more new branches-one in Teku in Kathmandu and Mahendranagar. The Bank recently announced Bonus Shares of 15% and cash dividend of 0.79% for the year 2008. The Bank posted a Net Profit to Rs.317 million last year which is 31% over the previous year. The Operating Profit in the first quarter in the current year is Rs.174 million. The Bank is installing 25 ATMs all over the country, of which 5 are already operational, whilst the rest are in process of installation and will soon come into operation. |
