Formal inauguration of NIC Bank at Teku in KathmanduJanuary 14, 2010 - News The branch will provide a full range of products and services including all modern day banking facilities like Trade Finance, Remittance, Business Banking, ATM / Debit cards, Drafts, SMS Banking, Travelers cheques etc. It is connected to all other branches through a V-SAT / Optical Fibre network, enabling real-time on-line connectivity. This branch is also having its own ATM Terminal. The Bank has also introduced gold medallion with purity of 99.9 % of 5gms, 8gms & 10gms each. The Bank will soon be opening its next new branch in Mahendranagar, whilst several more branches are planned in during the year. The Bank recently announced Bonus Shares of 15% and cash dividend of 0.79% for the fiscal year 2008/2009. The Bank posted a Net Profit of Rs.317 million last year which is 31% over the previous year. The Operating Profit in the first quarter in the current year has been Rs.174 million.
