A. Import Letter of Credit (L/C)

Letter of Credit (LC) is one of the safest and most convenient means of international trade, both for the importer and exporter. In order to meet the import requirements of customers, NIC Bank offers LC facilities through its international network of banks situated worldwide. NIC is the first bank in Nepal to be provided with a line of credit by International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group under its Global Trade Finance Program enabling its LC to be accepted / confirmed by more than 200 bank branches worldwide.

B. Bank Guarantees

NIC is the first bank in Nepal to be provided with a line of credit by International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group under its Global Trade Finance Program enabling its Guarantees to be accepted / confirmed by more than 200 bank branches worldwide. The Bank offers various types of guarantees as per the need and business requirements of its customers.
